Following two paleopathologists, Philippe Charlier and Anastassia Tsaliki, we set out for a survey in the land that the ancient Greeks used to call “the Numerous”. From a funeral vase in Louvre as far as Delos Island, the two scientists interpret the relation of ancient Greeks with their dead.
The film presents sorcery practices in the cemetery of Keramikos and two major oracles strongly related with the land of the dead: the Necromanteion in Epiros and the Cave of Trophonios in Livadia, Viotia.
