The film shows how the Nabateans had mastered the problem of water control in ancient times, how their ingenious system vanished through the ages and the subsequent consequences of this loss. The film also shows how the water control system developed by EDF will renew the link with the past, will satisfy the demand for water due to tourism and will make it possible to lower the water level of the wells, thus protecting the monuments from deterioration.
