What did our ancestors eat, how did they grow their food ? In order to rediscover these aspects of every day life, a couple of archaeologists-agriculturists have set up an experimental garden, where large numbers of different plants, which have been associated with the history of man, are being studied and grown according to the techniques of the respective periods.
