Dedicated to Memory (from Myth to Evidence)

The script of this film incorporates the knowledge of the macedonian burial traditions which was discovered after years of archaeological excavations at the royal necropolis of Egon (Vergina). The death and burial of king Philip the second, idolizing the chosen, the fear of the inevitable end, the hope of another life, the pain of separation, the thirst of eternal glorification are the subjects this documentary deals with. The treasures brought to light by the archaeological pick axe play the leading role. The myth of death is gradually transformed to image.
