The Hellenic History Foundation (ID.IS.ME.) with the history documentary “On the edge of the Aegean, Castellorizo”, a co-production of ID.IS.ME., OTE TV and ERT, narrates the recent history of Castellorizo island, the ancient Megisti, describing the most important events from the end of the nineteenth century until its unification to Greece, in 1948. This documentary is a tribute to the history of the island, as it tries to promote the great cultural, historic and economic heritage of Castellorizians. The Castellorizians’ accounts take us through Antifellos, Makri, Livisi, Myra and Castellorizo, as they outline the turbulent past of the small island.
