The 10th International Meeting of Archaeological Film will take place from 17 to 23 October in Athens (at the Greek Cinema Archive)
There will be 103 films from 17 countries (Australia, Belgium, Cyprus, Danmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Latvia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, USA).
The films of the International Competition Section will compete for the Awards of the Jury; all the films (in and out of competition) will compete for the Award of the Public.
The members of the Jury are: Memi Spyratou (president of the AGON festival, director), Tony Coe (BBC producer), Nikos Kaltsas (archaeologist), Dimitris Komninos (director), Dionyssis Petroutsopoulos (director of photography).
During the festival, an exhibition-tribute to the Greek cartoonist Phokion Demetriades, who dedicated himself to the satirical cartoon, will be open to the public.
