A documentary about the conservation of the wall paintings from the Zolkos residence on Lesvos island, painted by a famous Greek folk painter, Theophilos Hadjimihail in 1928. From their detachment for exhibition in 1970, their installation at the Museum of Greek Folk Art in Plaka, to their conservation at the laboratories of the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments. The conservators who took on this difficult task share with us the secrets of their work at every stage.
