In 2001, professor Hermann Parzinger, president of the German Archaeological Institute, made an outstanding discovery in Tuva: he unearthed golden skythic ornamental objects of great value, in an intact burial mound .
In 2006, prof. Parzinger will be tackling a new challenge, beginning a new mission, this time in the Altay Mountains of Mongolia. The professor believes that there are more tombs covered by ice, in which perfectly preserved Scythian warriors could be found. Thus, a fascinating voyage of discovery began and led to remarkable results.
