This documentary is about the prehistoric flint mines of Gargano, a unique archaeological site in Italy, which has only recently came to light. Specifically, the film focuses on Defensola, the most ancient mine in Europe. The site is in an excellent condition, and one can still visit the areas left by the prehistoric miners. With this video, we offer a virtual reality visit to this complex, something which would not otherwise have been possible. In fact, the complex extends into a series of underground rooms and corridors, covering a surface of approximately 6.000m2, with a height that doesn’t surpass 50 centimetres.
