Located between the Nile and the Mediterranean, Borollos Lake is one of the last refuges of traditional fishing. In this shallow lagoon, fishing is done with a basic trawl made from greater sailboats.

Sitting low in the water, these unique, fast and powerful boats have a keel adapted to the lake and its fishing conditions. They are propelled by an over-sized lateen sail.

The film follows the fishermen on the lake, detailing the fishing techniques and following the construction of one of these boats from the building of the keel to the boat launch.
